so many times! I even tell the person on the other end that am looking for my phone and more often than not, the other person waits patiently while I'm searching.

I too once in a while get that "where's my phone", especially when i am packing/getting ready to go out... while talking
I do a mind check of things i need to carry (keys, phone, wallet etc etc...)
i find one empty .... "Where's my Phone?? Damn.. i'm taking into it"
